HOW TO UPDATE DATE OF EXIT IN PF WITHOUT EMPLOYER (UAN MEMBER PORTAL)

  • First – updating Date Of Exit by PF member through UAN member portal.
  • Second – Updating Date Of Exit Through Employer

  • Requirements for updating date of exit on UAN member portal
  • UAN number should be activated.
  • It has been 2 months since I left my job.
  • UAN should have Aadhaar KYC verification.
  • For OTP verification, the mobile number registered in Aadhaar should be operational.

How to update date of exit on UAN member portal?

DATE OF EXIT PROCESS FOR EMPLOYEE

Step 1 ♦ Log in to the UAN member portal first.

Step 2 ♦ Click on the tab of ” Mangae ” option on ” MARK EXIT “.

Step 3 ♦ In the next page ” SELECT-EMPLOYMENT ” select your PF account in which to update the date of exit.

Step 4 ♦ The new page will show the information about the PF account that you have selected.

  • In Select Date Of Exit (EPF ), select the date which is to be updated in Date of Exit.
  • Select the same date again in Re-Select Date Of Exit (EPF) .
  • Select reason of Exit is to select the reason for leaving the job. Cessation (Short Service) is usually selected.
  • Click on ” Request OTP “, after which an OTP will be sent to the mobile registered in your Aadhaar.
  • The OTP on the mobile has to be entered in the box with ” Enter Aadhaar Based OTP “.

Step 5 ♦ Click on the check box below (I Have Read….) And click on the “ SUBMITT ” button.

Step 6 ♦ After this a pop-up will open in which click on the “ Update ” button.

Step 7 ♦ Another pop-up will open in which click on the ✓Ok button.

Step 8 ♦ After this your ” Date Of Exit ” will be successfully updated and you will be shown the information in ” Date Of Exit Seeding History “.

So friends, the entire process of updating the date of exit in your PF account on the UAN member portal.

DATE OF EXIT PROCESS FOR EMPLOYER

♦ The first step employer has to go to the employer UAN portal and login with his ID and password. https://unifiedportal-emp.epfindia.gov.in/epfo/

♦ The second step- members option is to select profile.

♦ Third step – On this page, UAN NUMBER is to be entered on the box of UAN number of the employee whose job date is to be updated and click on SEARCH .

♦ Fourth step. Next page will get all the details of that number like name, member id, gender etc. So , click on the option marked “ Mark Exit ” here.

♦ The fifth step in this page is to select the reason for leaving the job first. After that, the date of exit is to be selected. And click on save.

♦ Sixth step, after this a new page will open where you will be told that the exit date has been successfully saved ( member exit saved succesfully for approval ) Now after that you have to approve it.

♦ The seventh step is to select approval on the option with members again.




♦ The eighth step on this page, the details of the member will be pending in the pending whose date you have updated the date of exit in the UN , and the details will be shown here in the pending section.

So here you have to approve ” Approve “. After that the date of exit of that member will be updated on the UAN portal. So, in this way, you can update your members’ leave dates online on the UN portal.
