State Health Secretary KK Son has instructed all the Deputy Commissioners to compulsorily check the corona virus of all persons coming from other states in view of the increasing pace of corona infection in the state in recent times. He has sent a letter to all the Deputy Commissioners on Wednesday, saying that since the middle of March, infected cases of corona in the state have been steadily increasing.
In view of this, corona examination with proper intensive monitoring is necessary. He has given instructions to mandatorily conduct corona checks of passengers coming from other states at Ranchi Airport, Ranchi and Hatia railway stations, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Chakradharpur and other railway stations and bus stands, citing earlier instructions. For this, arrangements have been made to collect samples at these places.
Also, in the event of confirmation of corona infection, at least 30 people who come in contact with the infected person have been identified and instructed to arrange for treatment after quick examination. The Health Secretary has also stated that in the event of obtaining the sample for examination, the person concerned must be instructed to remain in isolation till the results of the test are compulsorily obtained.
