IMD Alert: Now there will be heavy rain in these states, schools and colleges will remain closed due to increasing cold.

New Delhi: Light rain in the national capital Delhi has increased the shivering. Air quality has also improved due to the light rain that continued from Sunday evening till Monday i.e. this morning.

Due to the storm in the Bay of Bengal, rain is continuing in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu also.

According to IMD, due to the impact of this cyclone, there is a possibility of heavy rain in most parts of southern Odisha and the coastal areas of the state.

IMD has issued a yellow alert in view of the possibility of heavy rain in Malkangiri, Korapatu, Rayagada, Gajapit and Ganjan of Odisha today and December 5.

Talking about today’s weather, according to the report of Skymet Weather, today moderate to heavy rains along with very heavy rains at one or two places are possible in the northern coast of Tamil Nadu and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Southern Odisha and Chhattisgarh with heavy rain at some places.

Light to moderate rain is possible over south-eastern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Uttar Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light rain is possible in Gangetic West Bengal, Interior Odisha and Southern Jharkhand.

Sea condition will be rough to very rough along Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coast. India Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain for four districts of Tamil Nadu.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts during the next 24 hours.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a cyclonic storm to cross south Andhra Pradesh and adjacent north Tamil Nadu coast between Chennai and Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh around the evening of 4 December.

Moreover, according to the Regional Meteorological Center in Chennai, heavy rainfall continued at various places in Tiruvallur, especially coastal areas of Palavarkadu, Ponneri, Gummidipoondi, Periyapalayam, Sholavaram and others since Saturday morning.
