Jammu and Kashmir
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall with thunder/lightning and strong winds at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. The minimum temperature in Srinagar was recorded at 5.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The minimum temperature in Gulmarg was minus 1.2 degrees Celsius and in Pahalgam it was minus 0.5 degrees Celsius.
In the Ladakh region, Leh city recorded a temperature of minus 6.5 degrees Celsius; 8.6 degrees Celsius in Kargil; And in Dras it was recorded below 11.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was 14.1 degrees Celsius in Jammu city, 12.6 degrees in Katra, 7.5 degrees in Batote, 5.1 degrees in Bhaderwah, and 5.6 degrees in Banihal.
Northwest Territories
According to IMD’s weather bulletin, due to the influence of western disturbance, light rain is also expected in the north-western region of India, areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
West Bengal and Sikkim
Meanwhile, IMD has predicted light rain over West Bengal and Sikkim till March 14 and later on March 16. Light rain is expected in Gangetic West Bengal region till March 17.
Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Odisha from March 14 to March 17. There is a possibility of light rain in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh regions from March 16 to March 18.
Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura
There may be light to moderate rain or snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh in the next six days. IMD has predicted light rain in Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram till March 15.
Tamil Nadu and Puducherry
Weather conditions are likely to remain hot and humid in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next two days.
