IMD Cyclone Alert: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of cyclonic circulation. One has arisen in Iraq, which can reach the Jammu-Kashmir border in the next 24 hours, due to which there is a possibility of rain from Jammu to Uttarakhand and Punjab to UP. The second one is forming over Bangladesh, which is bringing heavy rains from Bihar-West Bengal to the North East states. At the same time, there is also an alert of severe heat in Gujarat.
IMD Cyclone Alert: The rising mercury level in Delhi-NCR and entire North India will decrease. From today till March 15, there is a rain alert from Jammu and Kashmir to Bihar, West Bengal to North East and Kerala to Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of two cyclonic circulations. According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, the first cyclonic circulation which originated in Iraq is slowly reaching the northern hilly states of India, which will cause rain in North India. At the same time, the second one is forming in Bangladesh, due to which there is a possibility of rain in the eastern and north-eastern states for the next 5 days.
The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert in Gujarat. The weather forecast issued by the department says that Gujarat is likely to experience severe heat today. The temperature in many areas here is likely to remain between 37 to 41 degrees Celsius. According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heatwave in many parts of the state for three days i.e. on March 11, 12 and 13. There is a possibility of severe heat for 5 days from 10th to 14th March.
Possibility of rain till March 15
The Meteorological Department said that due to two cyclonic circulations, there is a possibility of rain in different parts of the country till March 15. According to the forecast, the weather may deteriorate in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from March 10 to 15. Rain and heavy snowfall can be seen here with thunder till March 15. At the same time, the Meteorological Department said that rain can be seen in the areas around Punjab and Haryana along with thunderstorms and lightning. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain in Punjab and Haryana on March 12 and 13, and in Rajasthan from March 13 to 15.
Cyclonic circulation in Bangladesh
The Meteorological Department said that a cyclonic circulation is forming in Bangladesh. Due to its effect, heavy rains can be seen in Bihar, West Bengal and North East states. The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains are likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Tripura from 11 to 15 March. Also, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh from 11 to 13 March.
Rain in Tamil Nadu
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in South Indian states. According to the forecast of the department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 4 southern districts of Tamil Nadu today. The Regional Meteorological Center has issued an alert for this. Also, the state government had said a day earlier that if the situation worsens due to rain, then the schools and colleges of the state can also be closed. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Kerala and Mahe from 11 to 13 March.
