Today on Sunday, heavy rain alert has been issued in 10 districts and light rain warning has been issued in 42 districts including Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain. Here, a new low pressure area is going to form in the Bay of Bengal on Monday, due to which heavy rains are expected in most of the districts of Madhya Pradesh from Tuesday.

Weather Alert Today: Along with the monsoon, four weather systems are active in Madhya Pradesh, due to which the rains are expected to continue in the coming days. On Sunday-Monday, there will be rain with thunder and lightning at many places in the districts of Indore, Ujjain, Narmadapuram divisions. Heavy showers may occur at some places in the districts of Bhopal division. Today on Sunday, heavy rain alert has been issued in 10 districts and light rain warning has been issued in 42 districts including Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain. Here, a new low pressure area is going to form in the Bay of Bengal on Monday, due to which heavy rains are expected in most of the districts of Madhya Pradesh from Tuesday.

Multiple systems active at once

According to the MP Meteorological Department, at present there is a circle of cyclonic winds in the state. East and West winds are meeting in South Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The Monsoon Dronika is currently extending from Jaisalmer, Deesa, Ahmedabad, Seoni, Chhattisgarh to the Bay of Bengal. A cyclone has formed in the upper part of the wind over South-West Madhya Pradesh. The low pressure area over Odisha and adjoining Andhra has weakened but persists as a cyclonic circulation in the upper air over Vidarbha and adjoining Chhattisgarh. A new cyclone has formed in the upper air in the Bay of Bengal. A Western Disturbance is persisting as a trough over Pakistan.

Heavy rain alert in these districts

An alert has been issued for heavy rains in Narmadapuram, Betul, Guna and Narsinghpur and heavy rains with thunder and lightning in Sehore, Harda, Indore, Ratlam, Mandsaur and Chhindwara.

Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Rajgarh, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Neemuch, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Satna, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabal Light rain is expected in Pur, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari.

During the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Sunday, 51.4 in Dhar, 44.6 in Sidhi, 42 in Narsinghpur, 42 in Indore, 38 in Ujjain, 25.6 in Khargone, 24 in Ratlam, Chhindwara, 18.6 in Jabalpur, 12.6 in Pachmarhi, 9.8 in Seoni, 8.7 in Satna, Shivpuri Eight in Guna, seven in Tikamgarh, 6.7 in Umaria, six in Damoh, 5.4 in Betul, 5.4 in Khajuraho, four in Narmadapuram, Mandla, 3.4 in Raisen, 2.6 in Naugaon, two in Datia, Khandwa, 1.6 in Bhopal, Malajkhand, 1.4 mm in Sagar.
