Cyclone Remal: The depression in the Bay of Bengal has reached near the coast of Bengal. Has already turned into deep depression. According to the latest bulletin of the Meteorological Department, this deep depression is located 380 kilometers south-southeast of Sagardeep. It is slowly moving towards north. This system will become a cyclone this afternoon. After this, it will hit the coast of West Bengal and Bangladesh and make landfall late on 26th May.

Due to this cyclonic storm coming in West Bengal, its impact can be seen in the states adjacent to Bengal also. The effect of this storm can also be seen in Bihar and Odisha. People can get some relief from the scorching heat.

Meanwhile, due to this cyclone, strong winds will start blowing in all the districts of South Bengal including Kolkata from today. According to the weather office forecast, today there will be thunderstorms in Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, East Medinipur, West Medinipur, Jhargram, Purulia, Bankura, East Burdwan, West Burdwan, Birbhum, Murshidabad and Nadia. It is likely to happen. There is a possibility of heavy rain in North and South 24 Parganas and East Medinipur today.

Meanwhile, the weather of West Bengal will change completely on Sunday and Monday. Strong winds will blow at a speed of 80 to 90 kilometers per hour in Kolkata, Howrah, East Medinipur, Hooghly. There will be heavy rain. There is orange alert in these four districts. Meanwhile, the storm will blow at a speed of 100 to 110 kilometers per hour in North and South 24 Parganas. Cyclone Remal will bring very heavy rains here. There will be red alert in both these districts.

Today the maximum temperature in Kolkata can be around 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be around 28 degrees. After that, on May 26 and 27, the maximum temperature of Kolkata may fall to 30 degrees. After this, the maximum temperature in Kolkata can be 33 degrees Celsius on 28th May, 35 degrees Celsius on 29th May and 36 degrees Celsius on 30th May.
