IMD Rain Alert: There will be heavy rain in these states for the next five days, Meteorological Department has issued an alert

Talking about the weather of the past day, heatwave prevailed in the area of ​​southern Uttar Pradesh. The maximum temperature in states like Haryana, Delhi, Southern Uttar Pradesh, Southeast Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Southwest Bihar was between 43-46 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh was recorded at 45.8 degree Celsius. At the same time, heavy to very heavy rains occurred in coastal Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Odisha.

Regarding the Southwest Monsoon, the Meteorological Department has said that today it has reached South Maharashtra, Telangana, Southern Chhattisgarh, and some areas of Odisha and coastal Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, in the coming two to three days, the monsoon is going to knock in the remaining areas of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Telangana etc.

Talking about rain in other states, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim are going to receive rain for the next seven days. Apart from this, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam are going to receive rain for the next five days. At the same time, an alert of light to moderate rain has been issued for four to five days in Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh.

Talking about the hilly states of North India, a warning of light to moderate rain, thunderstorm has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on June 8 and 9. At the same time, dust storm is going to blow in Rajasthan on June 8 and 9.
