IMD Rainfall Alert: Heavy rain alert in these 15 areas from February 22 to February 25, check the condition of your state

Weather Forecast Today: According to the Meteorological Department, rain will continue in 15 areas from February 22 to February 25. Hail warning has been issued in many areas in 5 states. At present, the period of rain and snowfall is going to continue.

Today’s weather: The weather is changing continuously across the country. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there is snowfall in the mountains and rain in the plains has changed the mood of the weather. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an update saying that there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in some areas of North-West India for the next 3 days.

According to IMD, rain will continue in 15 areas from February 22 to February 25. Hail warning has been issued in many areas in 5 states. At present, the period of rain and snowfall is going to continue. The Meteorological Department has clarified in its forecast that there will be a significant change in the weather in the country’s capital Delhi and it will remain cloudy. Light rain may occur during this period. However, rain activity on 22 February has been ruled out.

A forecast of moderate rain has been issued in many areas of Bihar. This trend will continue till February 25 while the sky will remain cloudy in many areas of Jharkhand also. The sky will remain cloudy in West Bengal also. Light rain can be seen in some areas. An alert has also been issued regarding hailstorm in some areas of Madhya Pradesh including Rajasthan. However, the weather will remain pleasant in the southern states.

What will happen in the next 24 hours

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain and snowfall with heavy snowfall at some places is possible over the Western Himalayan region and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. The intensity of rain and snowfall over the Western Himalayas will reduce considerably but is likely to continue in Arunachal Pradesh till February 23.

At the same time, light to moderate rain is possible at many places in North Punjab, North Haryana, parts of Western Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Light rain is possible in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, parts of Jharkhand, Northeast Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh. Light rain is possible at some places in Kerala.
