IMD Rainfall Alert: The Meteorological Department has said that Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra are likely to receive very heavy rainfall for the next two days, while Gujarat will receive very heavy rainfall on July 25.
Rain Alert: Heavy rains are occurring in most states across the country. Very heavy rain warnings have been issued for the next two days in many states including Maharashtra and Goa. The Meteorological Department has said that Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra are likely to receive very heavy rains for the next two days, while Gujarat will receive very heavy rains on July 25 and then it will decrease and some relief may be available.
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, heavy rains were seen in states like Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, East Rajasthan, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Kerala, Mahe, Uttarakhand, North Interior Karnataka, West Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that very heavy rains are going to occur in Madhya Maharashtra on 25-27 July, Konkan, Goa on 25 and 26 July, Gujarat on 25 July. Heavy rains are also expected in Madhya Pradesh on 25 and 26 July, Saurashtra, Kutch, Vidarbha, Marathwada on 25 July, Konkan, Goa on 27 and 28 July, Madhya Maharashtra on 28 and 29 and Gujarat on 26 and 27 July. At the same time, there will be heavy rains in Chhattisgarh on 25-29 July, Vidarbha, Saurashtra and Kutch on 26-29 July, Madhya Pradesh on 27-29 July, Gujarat on 28 and 29 July, Konkan and Goa on 29 July.
Talking about the weather in North West India, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan are likely to receive moderate rains and thunderstorms and lightning for the next five days. Very heavy rains will be seen in East Rajasthan on 25th July, Uttarakhand on 26th and 27th July. Apart from this, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh will receive heavy rains on 25-29th July, East Uttar Pradesh on 25th and 26th July, Haryana, Chandigarh on 26th and 27th July, Punjab on 27th July, West Rajasthan on 25th, 26th and 29th July.
