IMD Rainfall Alert: There will be heavy rain in these 20 states, know the weather condition in your state

Monsoon Rain: According to Skymet report, rainfall is affected due to El Nino, but from the first week of June it will rapidly change to La Nina. This will increase the chances of a better monsoon.

Monsoon Rain Updates: Private weather agency Skymet said on Tuesday that monsoon will be normal in the country this year. This means that the monsoon rainfall in the four months between June and September is expected to be 102 percent. The Meteorological Department (IMD) also considers rainfall between 96 to 104 percent as average or normal. The agency said that the long period average (LPA) in the four-month monsoon season is 868.6 mm. The agency said that there will be more rain than normal in central and western parts of India. There will be normal rainfall in northern and southern parts and less than normal rainfall in north-east India and eastern parts.

According to Skymet report, rainfall is affected due to El Nino, but from the first week of June it will rapidly change to La Nina. This will increase the chances of a better monsoon. This change may cause a delay in the onset of rainfall in the season. However, less or light rain will continue in many areas. As of now, it is estimated that 95 percent of LPA will be received in June, 105 percent in July, 98 percent in August and 110 percent in September.

Chance of good rain in these states

According to the agency, there is a possibility of good rain in more than 20 states and union territories of the country. This includes Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep are included.

Normal and less rainfall expected here

The agency said that there will be normal rainfall in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal, while there is a possibility of less rainfall in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim.

Temperature will drop due to storm in North Karnataka: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that there is a possibility of thunderstorm and rain in North Interior Karnataka in a day or two. Due to this, the temperature is expected to drop in the state. According to IMD, heatwave conditions were prevailing in South Peninsular India in the last five-six days. North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh were affected, but now there is a possibility of rain here.
