IMD Rain Alert: A new Western Disturbance will arrive on March 9. Due to this, there will be rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh on March 9-13, Uttarakhand on March 10-13, Punjab on March 12 and 13.
Weather Update: The strong winds blowing in North India for the last two days have now slowed down. However, now Western Disturbance is going to knock, due to which there will be rain in the hilly states. According to the Meteorological Department, there is going to be rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh for five days i.e. from 9-13 March.
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, light rain occurred in Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from this, rain occurred in Assam, Meghalaya, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Mahe.

Talking about South India, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala will receive heavy rains on 10 and 11 March and South Interior Karnataka on 11 March. At the same time, the maximum temperature is likely to increase by two to four degrees Celsius in Northwest India and Central India in the next three to four days. At the same time, the mercury will rise by five degrees in East and West India in the next five days. Konkan, Goa, Coastal Karnataka will experience hot and humid weather on 7 and 8 March, Gujarat on 9 to 11 March, Kerala and Mahe on 7-9 March, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam on 8 March.
