IMD Rainfall Update: There will be heavy rain for the next 5 to 6 days, there will be relief from the scorching heat

IMD Rainfall Update: The Meteorological Department says that in the next 5 to 6 days there will be rain in the eastern and southern parts of the country and there will be relief from the heat. There is an alert of heavy rain in the northeastern states.

IMD Rainfall Update: Heatwave outbreak is being seen in large parts of the country. Telangana, Delhi, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand, Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu are experiencing scorching heat. At many places the temperature has crossed 45 degrees. However, the Meteorological Department has also announced relief news amid this heat. IMD says that there may be some respite from the heat in eastern and southern states this week.

Meteorological Department Director General M Mohapatra said, there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm along with thunderstorms in the Northeast in the month of May. There will be relief from the scorching heat in Eastern and South India also. It may rain in the next five days. The Meteorological Department says that heat wave conditions will continue in Gangetic West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Jharkhand. The maximum temperature may be recorded 4-7 degrees above normal.

Orange alert of heatwave has been issued in most of the districts of Karnataka. Let us tell you that the third phase of voting is also to be held on Tuesday. Meanwhile the temperature can go up to 42 to 44 degrees Celsius. Orange alert has been issued in 13 districts of Telangana. The maximum temperature recorded in Hyderabad on Sunday was 44 degrees Celsius. A continuous rise in temperature is also being recorded in Odisha.

The highest maximum temperature of 45 Celsius was recorded in Titlagarh on Sunday. After this, it was 44.6 degrees Celsius in Boudh and 44.4 degrees Celsius in Nuapada. The mercury reached 44.3 degrees in Bolangir. Apart from this, the temperature of Bhawanipatna and Jharsuguda reached 44 degrees Celsius. The temperature of Baripada was recorded at 33.8 degrees Celsius.

Heavy rain alert here

Temperatures rose rapidly in many parts of Telangana and Rayalaseema of Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha of Maharashtra. Sunday was the hottest day of this year in the capital Delhi. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in Dibrugarh, Assam. There may be rain with strong winds in Assam on 6th and 7th May. Apart from this, schools have been closed due to heavy rains in Manipur. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain with strong winds in the North-Eastern Indian states of Arunachal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura and Mizore.
