IMD Weather Forecast 12 June: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a comprehensive warning of rain, thunderstorms, strong winds and severe heat across the country for the next seven days. Different weather activities will be seen in the south, west, north, east and northeastern parts of the country.
In the weather department forecast, strong winds are likely in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal from 12–15 June. During this time the wind speed can be up to 40-50 km / h. There is also a possibility of lightning in these areas. Apart from this, stormy weather is expected in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar with strong winds of 50-60 km / h.
The Meteorological Department has said that thunderstorms and strong winds of 50-70 km/h may occur in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan from 13–17 June. Heavy rainfall warning has been issued at isolated places in Uttarakhand from 12–17 June.
The Meteorological Department has said that Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep will receive continuous light to moderate rain for the next 7 days. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms and strong winds of 30-50 km / h in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana till June 12–13. Strong surface winds of 50-60 km / h can blow in these areas from June 12–15.
