IMD Weather Update: Heavy damage due to torrential rains in these states, IMD issues alert

IMD Weather Forecast: Weather patterns are continuously changing in different parts of the country. In view of this, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a latest update. Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been recorded in some states of the country.

New Delhi. The winter season has ended in the plains. An increase in temperature has started being recorded in various parts of the country. Along with this, rain activities have also started being seen. It is raining continuously at intervals of a few days from the plains to the high mountain areas. There have been several thunderstorms and rains along with strong winds in the plains bordering the banks of Ganga. Now the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released the latest forecast. According to Meteorological Department scientists, heavy to very heavy rainfall has been recorded in Assam and Meghalaya. The effect of seasonal movements in the western Himalayan regions can be seen in the people visiting the north-western areas of the country.

IMD had issued an alert regarding torrential rains in North-East India. This forecast of the weather department has proved correct. Clouds have rained heavily in Assam and Meghalaya. 12 cm rainfall in Williamnagar of East Garo Hills district on Tuesday. Rain was recorded. Apart from this, Cherrapunji located in East Khasi Hills district received 10 cm rainfall. Apart from this, 9 cm in Karimganj district. It rained till. Due to change in weather patterns, there was heavy rain, which disrupted normal life. Due to continuous rain, the atmosphere started feeling as if the rainy season has arrived.

Turmoil in the himalayan region

The forecast issued by the Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of seasonal disturbances in the Himalayan regions. In such a situation, the weather patterns may change in many parts of North-West India in the coming days. Due to seasonal changes, rain and strong winds are expected in these parts of the country. Meteorologists have said in their weather forecast that the weather conditions in North-West India adjoining the Western Himalayan regions may remain harsh till March 31. The situation is expected to become worse from 29th to 30th March.

How will be the weather of Delhi?

The weather will remain almost normal in the country’s capital Delhi and surrounding areas. Since the effect of cold has ended, the temperature of Delhi-NCR is continuously increasing. There is no possibility of any major change in the weather of Delhi on Wednesday 27th March. According to IMD, the game of hide and seek will continue between Surya Dada and clouds in Delhi and surrounding areas. There is a possibility of cloudy sky in most parts. However, the chances of rain are negligible.
