IMD Weather Update: Standing crops ruined in many districts due to heavy rain and hail, rain and hail warning for tomorrow

In many districts, farmers have suffered huge losses due to rain and hailstorm on standing crops.

Heavy rain in Bhopal, coolness in Indore

There was darkness in the capital Bhopal after 3:30 pm on Wednesday. Along with this, heavy rains along with strong winds were also seen at many places. Hail also fell in Old Bhopal and Karond area. Trees have also broken at many places due to strong winds in the city. The road was blocked due to the collapse of a tower in Jawahar Chowk area. According to senior meteorologist Divya E. Surendran, a western disturbance is currently active. At the same time, two cyclonic circulations are also active over Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Another Western Disturbance will be active on 10th to 11th April. This will make the existing system even stronger. Due to this, the weather will remain like this for a week.

It rained in many districts

According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, rainfall was recorded at some places in the districts of Indore, Ujjain, Rewa, Sagar divisions of the state and at some places in the districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur, Shahdol divisions. On Tuesday too, there was a dust storm in Narmadapuram, Harda, Vidisha, Raisen, Khargone, Damoh, Khandwa, Betul. Strong winds blew in Sihore, Ashoknagar, Shajapur, Bhopal, Balaghat, Katni, Shahdol, Satna, Jabalpur, Seoni, Damoh, Chhindwara, Mandla, Rewa, Sagar.

Temperature

The highest maximum temperature of 41.4 °C in the state was recorded in Prithvipur ARG (Niwari) and the lowest minimum temperature of 17.4 °C was recorded in Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram).
