Important News: It is now necessary to follow these rules while traveling with flights, otherwise the company will take off from flights

Directorate General of Civil Aviation has issued strict rules for those traveling in flights. If no one follows them then they will be stopped from traveling.

If you are preparing to fly home on Holi then this news is very important for you. Because the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA- Directorate General of Civil Aviation) has issued a new order regarding this. DGCA says that if one does not wear any mask properly inside the aircraft. Also, if they do not follow the necessary guidelines regarding COVID, then passengers will be de-boarded. If a passenger violates the protocol despite repeated warnings, the passenger will be treated as an ‘Unruly Passenger’.

Earlier in one of its orders last year, the DGCA had said that air travelers who would not wear face masks during the flight would be put on the ‘no fly list’ for onward voyages. This means that it is a kind of black list system. Passengers who deliberately do not wear face masks during the flight will not be allowed to travel with any further air lines.

What does the new order issued by DGCA say

An order issued on March 13 by the DGCA states that it has been observed that some passengers traveling by air do not follow the ‘Kovid-19 protocol’, which essentially involves wearing masks.

Those who do not nose the mask during the journey. If they do not follow the rules until they enter and exit the airport, then strict action will be taken on them.

If a passenger violates the protocol despite repeated warnings, then the passenger will be treated as ‘Unruly Passenger’ (a passenger who does not follow the rules even when asked repeatedly).

The DGCA further said that even after repeated warnings to any passenger, in the event of not adhering to wearing masks properly, the passenger aboard the aircraft will be de-boarded and strict action will be taken on it.

Now what is important at the airport

The new order clearly states that it is necessary to wear masks till entering and leaving the airport. Also, the mask should be above the nose. The CISF and other police personnel will be deployed to check this.

When will these rules be applicable

The DGCA says that immediate steps should be taken in this direction. Strict action will be taken in case of any violation.

Let us tell you that recently the Delhi High Court has taken strict note on the ‘worrying situation’ of not wearing masks properly by passengers in flights and issued guidelines to all domestic airlines and DGCA for strict compliance in this regard.

According to news agency PTI, Justice C Hari Shankar observed that the passengers were not wearing masks properly while going from the airport to the flight.

He took automatic cognizance of the situation and issued immediate guidelines for compliance. In its order passed by the High Court, it said that due to a dangerous situation, it was forced to pass the order which the judge himself saw during the Air India flight from Kolkata to New Delhi on March 5.

It said, it was seen that all the passengers had put on masks, but many were wearing masks under their chin. The judge said, ‘This behavior was seen not only while boarding the aircraft from the airport, but also within the flight.

They wore their masks properly when the passengers were repeatedly interrupted (by me). The judge said that when asked by the crew members in this regard, he said that all the passengers were directed to wear masks, but they are helpless if they do not follow it.
