Ind vs Aus: Former Australia cricket team captain Steve Smith was banned by his own Board of Cricket Australia for 1 year after being found guilty in the ball tampering case. There was a lot of talk on this decision of the board and many veterans supported Smith, calling it a severe punishment. Smith has not changed even after returning to the cricket field and the proof of this was seen on the fifth day during the Sydney Test.

The third match of the four-match Test series being played between India and Australia was drawn. Hanuma Vihari and R Ashwin batted strongly for India and drew the match on the last day. Even after being injured, Hanuma stayed on the field and he raised India’s honor by facing 43 overs. On the last day of the match, Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant hit an innings of 97 runs and changed the course of the match. Had Pant not been out, India would have easily won the match.

Smith again ashamed of the Gentleman game

Smith was banned from playing international cricket for a year after being caught on camera red-handed while tampering with the ball. After this incident in the Cape Town Test against South Africa, everyone felt that Smith who apologized crying in front of the camera would improve. But this did not happen and he again embarrassed the Gentleman game against India in the Sydney Test.

Rishabh Pant was in trouble for Australia by playing a smoky innings. India was moving towards victory and in such a situation Smith did something which is a proof of his nature of dishonesty. When Pant was not in his crease during the match, Smith, fielding in the slip, went to the wicket and wiped the foot of Pant’s guard mark. This incident was caught in the camera and it is being condemned everywhere on social media.
