Indian currency Holder Alert: New Update! RBI released important information related to Rs 100, 200 And 500 note, Check immediately

Indian currency New Update: For a few days, false news regarding the validity of the star marked notes is going viral on social media. RBI issued a statement on this matter, clarifying that these notes have the same value as any other legal bank note.

RBI Statement: Recently the government announced the closure of 2000 rupee notes. The general public can deposit the note in the bank account till 30 September. Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India has issued a big statement regarding the notes of 10, 20, 100, 200 and 500 rupees.

In fact, for a few days, false news regarding the validity of the star marked notes is going viral on social media. It is being said that, “Notes with star mark (*) are fake.” RBI issued a statement on this matter, clarifying that these notes have the same value as any other legal bank note.

According to the central bank, these notes are issued in exchange for those currency notes, which get spoiled during printing. In a bundle of 100 notes, some notes are misprinted, which are replaced by Star series. The star mark on the note indicates that the note has been modified or reprinted. The star mark is present after 3 letters in the middle of the series.

RBI also informed that the notes with star mark are in circulation since 2003, which were introduced in the year 2006. Although initially this mark was printed only on 10, 20 and 50 rupee notes, but now it has been made effective for all notes.
