According to Eastern Railway’s tweet, ticket generation will not take place due to maintenance activity at PRS data center in Kolkata. This work will run from 23.45 pm on 23rd October to 24th October at 5 am. Therefore, passengers should do their reservation or other work in advance.

What will be the effect on passengers
More than 15 lakh transactions are done daily through the Passenger Reservation System of Indian Railways. This system works on network connectivity.
