Till now, different apps or portals were required for all these facilities, but now all the facilities will be available on a single app. This will provide a lot of convenience to users traveling by train. Both these apps have been made available in beta on Android and iOS platforms.
What are the benefits of SwaRail Super App
This app has been developed by the Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS). With the SwaRail Super App, users will be able to book reserved and unreserved tickets online. Also, platform tickets can be booked online. Apart from this, parcel and delivery can be tracked on the app. Apart from this, you will be able to order food in the train with the help of the app. Apart from this, you will be able to get information along with registering a complaint with Rail Madad. The app will provide the facility of coach position and refund claim.
How to use Swarail App
According to the Ministry of Railways, all the details related to that train will also be displayed when you check PNR. You will have to sign up only once. You will have to login using mobile number or username and password. It can also be used on other Indian Railway apps like IRCTC RailConnect and UTS Mobile App. This means that IRCTC app will remain available as before.
You will be able to login with biometric details
Apart from this, users can also use their existing RailConnect or UTS app credentials to onboard the app. M-PIN and biometric authentication login options are available in the app. Users can give feedback about the app. This app is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
