UTS App

Actually, the facility of booking unreserved train tickets is provided by the Railways on the UTS app in an online way. Passengers traveling by train through the UTS application can book unreserved train tickets online even after boarding the train.

The mobile app UTS works on smartphones with Android, iOS and Windows versions and can be downloaded for free. At the same time, the payment of tickets can be done online only. Apart from unreserved tickets, platform tickets can also be booked with this facility provided by the Railways.

How to do Unreserved Train Ticket Booking from UTS

  • Go to the UTS app.
  • Select the option of Normal Booking.
  • Then enter the name/code of the departure station and the name/code of the destination station.
  • Select the ticket type, such as Passenger, Mail or Express.
  • Choose the type of ticket you wish to book between paper and paperless.
  • Choose a payment method from Wallet or other online payment methods.
  • Pay for your ticket and you will get a message regarding ticket booking.
  • In the UTS Dashboard, there will be an option to ‘Show Tickets’. From that option you can view the ticket.
