Inside Story: Sunny Deol became the face of Bollywood for the first time after becoming an MP

Sunny Deol told how filmmakers are not able to release their film due to low audience and due to this the industry is suffering huge losses.

A decision of the Government of India has given a big relief to the film industry. In fact, according to the new guideline released by the government, theaters have been opened with 100 per cent capacity from yesterday, 1st February. In such a situation, the film industry, which has been suffering for the past one year, has got a big relief and the makers who have released big budget films have started making their own strategy.

Meanwhile, the name of actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol is also being discussed. It is being told that Sunny Deol also has an important role in this decision of the government. Actually some time ago a delegation from the film industry met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar, Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur. Sunny Deol was presiding over this delegation. Sunny Deol, while making everyone aware of the situation, appealed to open theaters with a capacity of more than 50 percent.

According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, Sunny Deol told how the filmmakers are not able to release their film due to low audience and due to this the industry is suffering huge losses. According to the report, the ministers listened to the delegation with great patience and got to see the effect of the meeting in the next 72 hours. It is being told that within just 72 hours of meeting with the delegation, the government had decided to open theaters with 100 percent capacity and the draft was prepared.

This is the first time Sunny Deol has emerged as the face of Bollywood after becoming an MP. Earlier, he did not come forward openly in any matters related to cinema.

Let me tell you, due to the Corona epidemic, the film industry has suffered a lot in the last one year. Along with the ban on shooting, cinemas were locked for months due to which many distributors went bankrupt. Opening of theaters with 50 per cent capacity also did not have much effect as many film makers were afraid to release their big budget films. In such a situation, the film industry has got some relief.
