IPL 2021: The team had left after fighting Krunal Pandya, now six sixes, hit Pachasa in 20 balls, made a tremendous record

IPL 2021: Deepak Hooda (25) hails from Haryana but plays for Baroda in domestic cricket.

IPL 2021: In the match between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings, Deepak Hooda (Deepak Hooda) rocked in IPL 2021. The batsman, who played for Punjab, blew 64 runs in 28 balls. Deepak Hooda hit four fours and six sixes in his innings. The last few months have been very bad for him. He had a fight with captain Krunal Pandya while playing for Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Then he was suspended. Since then, he was away from cricket. In this way, in his very first match in IPL 2021, this player made a great batting leaving behind the bad memories. He landed at number four for batting and formed a century partnership with captain KL Rahul. During this, Deepak Hooda completed Pachasa in 20 balls. With this, he has become the only uncapped player to have a 20-ball fifty in IPL history.

Deepak Hooda came for batting at number four in the match against Rajasthan Royals. At that time Punjab’s score was 89 for two in 9.5 overs. But with the arrival of Hooda, the pace of runs got wings. He beat every bowler of Rajasthan. He started with fours. But then two sixes in Shivam Dubey’s over and three sixes in Shreyas Gopal’s over. With this, Hooda reached 39 runs in 15 balls with seven runs from six balls within two overs. Then Jos Buttler gave him a life on the ball of Mustafizur Rahman. Taking advantage of this, he hit a six off Chris Maurice and then completed 50 runs in 20 balls. This is his third fifty in the IPL.

Interestingly, on April 12, he has scored a half-century in the IPL for the second time. Earlier, in IPL 2015, while playing for Rajasthan Royals, he put a 22-ball fifty on April 12, 2015. This was the first episode of his IPL career.

Hit sixes over fours to make 50 runs

Deepak Hooda had hit sixes more than fours till the score of 50 runs. During this, he hit only one four and six sixes. Hooda did not stop even after Fifty. He hit three consecutive fours in Chetan Sakaria’s over. In the 18th over, he was caught by Ryan Parag in an attempt to hit a big shot off Chris Maurice. He was dismissed after scoring 64 runs off 28 balls with four fours and six sixes. But before he was dismissed, he made a 105-run partnership with captain KL Rahul. When they came to the crease in the 10th over, the team’s score was 89 but after seven overs, when they were out in the 18th over, Punjab’s team had reached 194 runs.

Deepak came into controversy in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

Deepak Hooda came into the limelight in January 2021. He plays for Baroda in domestic cricket. In such a situation, he joined the team to play the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. But before the tournament started, he had a fight with captain Krunal Pandya. Hooda alleged that Krunal misbehaved with her and abused her. Because of this, he left the tournament and went home. Later, the Baroda Cricket Association suspended Hooda for this action. In such a situation, this Fifty for the Punjab Kings in IPL 2021 is a great relief for them.
