IPPB New Rules: These rules of the bank are changing from August 1, 20 rupees will be charged on every transaction

If you have an account with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and you use door step banking, then now you have to pay money according to every transaction for this banking.




India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has made changes in the rules related to doorstep banking. These new rules are going to have a great impact on those people who are resorting to doorstep banking. Actually, the rules of door step banking of IPPB are going to change soon and due to this the burden of expenditure on the people is going to increase. In such a situation, we know what are the new rules of India Post and how it is going to affect the people.

Actually, the rules of door step banking of the bank are going to change from August 1, 2021. Earlier, no charge was taken for doorstep banking, but now these have been changed and according to this, now money will have to be paid for door step banking as well. That is, money will be charged for door step banking, but money will have to be paid for some services only.

How much will it cost
Some transactions will be charged by the bank. This charge will be Rs 20 per transaction plus GST. At present, the bank is charging a fee of Rs 20 on the transaction and only Rs 20 has been fixed for all the works.

On which transactions will the money be charged?
Account holders for transfer of funds to IPPB accounts, transfer of money to other accounts, Standing instructions under Send money service, POSB sweep in and POSB sweep out, Post office products like Sukanya Samriddhi account, PPF, RD, LARD For mobile postpaid and bill payments under bill payments, Rs 20 for assisted UPI, Rs 20 plus GST for cash withdrawal and cash deposit will have to be paid.

Which service will not be charged?
As per reports, on opening a new account, managing beneficiary under send money, mobile prepaid, nominee updation, pan updation, aadhar seeding, mobile number/email id updation, managing POSB account, update statement option, life insurance, reKYC No decision will be taken for Aadhaar Enabled Payment System ie AEPS, Direct Money Transfer, Digital Life Certificate, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.

Other customers will get benefit
Apart from this, it is being told that those who are not customers of IPPB, they have been given exemption in charge in many services. If those customers take advantage of the bank’s door step banking, then they do not have to pay any fee. They have also been given exemption for many transaction fees.
