A statement has come from the railway in this regard. According to Indian Railways, it is expected to take another 2 months for all trains to return to the track. According to a senior railway official, it is likely to take time till the end of March to return to 100% railway operations. That is, earning through online e-ticket booking of IRCTC could not start yet.
65% train on track: Talking about the present time, the railway is working to operate only 65% of all mail or express trains. According to the railways, the number of trains is being increased from 100 to 200 every month. Railways is also in the process of restarting the local rail service in Delhi-NCR. According to the news, in the next one month, the work of restoring the local sub-urban train service from Delhi to Haryana cities like Sonipat, Palwal, Mahendragarh, Gurugram or adjoining cities of Rajasthan will be done by the Railways.
E-catering service from next month: Here Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is preparing to resume its e-catering services from next month, which is a big relief for the passengers. Service resumed in a phased manner: IRCTC, which takes over the Indian Railways catering, tourism and online ticketing activities, is going to resume e-catering services for passengers traveling on special trains. A statement said that with the permission of the Ministry of Railways, IRCTC is ready to resume e-catering services in a phased manner from February.
