Indian Railways has decided to extend the running period of many trains till March in view of the demand of passengers. This means that you are now able to book tickets for travel in these trains by March. Let us tell you that this time on 28 and 29 March, Holi is there.
According to Indian Railways, 12 pairs of festival special trains have also been included in the trains with increased duration. These include the names of trains connecting Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Chennai, Kerala, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Not only this, some weekly special trains have also been announced by the Railways.
Here, let us tell you that for the trains whose time extension work has been done by the Railways, you can book tickets from January 29 itself. Tickets can be booked through the PRS counters and the official website of IRCTC and the app. Railways have also extended the extension of special trains running between Okha-Ernakulam and Okha and Rameswaram.
