Another website of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is about to be launched, this information has been given by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.
Indian Railway News: If you are facing problem in booking tickets on the website of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), then this news may be useful for you. Actually, a new and better website of IRCTC will be launched by July 15. This information has been given by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. This decision has been taken after continuous complaints from passengers, especially students. Let us tell you that some students had complained about technical problems faced during ticket booking and problems related to CAPTCHA verification.
Students raised the issue
During an event in Rajasthan, students complained to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav about the functioning of the IRCTC website. They reported problems with CAPTCHA verification. One student informed the minister about the difficulties with the website’s CAPTCHA system. Responding to this, Vaishnav summoned an official and stated that the students were demanding a new website. The minister asked the officials, “Can we do this in 30 days?” He then announced that the new IRCTC website would be launched by July 15th.
The new website aims to make the ticket booking process faster, simpler, and more user-friendly. It is expected that the new system will have improved server capacity, easier login, faster ticket booking, and fewer technical glitches, resulting in a better passenger experience.
During his visit, the Railway Minister also made many important announcements related to technical education and research. He announced setting up of Upgraded Quantum Computing and Quantum Communication Lab at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT). The minister said that these labs will be established under the Electronics and ICT Academic Project of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
Addressing students and teachers at the institute, Vaishnav said that the current technological revolution is being driven by AI while the next big technological wave will be led by quantum technology. The minister said that the work done under this project will be important for the country. He said that the lab will also do research in the field of quantum communication and quantum distribution, which has special importance from the national security point of view.
Vaishnav said that the industry estimates that there will be a demand for more than 10 lakh semiconductor design professionals in the coming years, which India can easily meet. He said companies like Nvidia, Qualcomm, Arm and AMD are already designing two and three nanometer upgraded semiconductor chips in India.
