Reliance Jio Fiber Backup plan : Soon after announcing new Cricket plans and data packs, Reliance Jio has announced a new JioFiber Backup plan for its broadband customers. Like other broadband plans, the new Backup plan also comes with unlimited data and landline connection. Along with this, users also have the option to include OTT services and Live TV channels by paying up to Rs 200 extra.

Reliance Jio Fiber Backup plan is an affordable plan that’s priced at just Rs 198 per month. Both new and existing customers can get this plan on their JioFiber connection. In terms of benefits, the plan offers 10Mbps speed with unlimited data and landline connection with unlimited calling.
Jio Fiber supports Speed Upgrade plans
Reliance Jio has also offered users the option to boost the Jio Fiber Backup plan’s speed by up to 100Mbps by paying a little extra. Refer to the table below

What this means is that users have the option to pay extra to upgrade the internet speed. The plan starts at Rs 21 which allows users to update their speed to 30Mbps for 1 day. Similarly, users can pay Rs 32 for 100Mbps. Users also have the option to pay Rs 31 for 30 Mbps for 2 days of speed update.
Jio Fiber Entertainment upgrade
Alongside the Speed Upgrade, Jio is also allowing users to add OTT and Live TV benefits with the JioFiber Backup plan. Users have the option to pay either Rs 100 per month for 6 OTT services and 400 Live TV channels along with the Jio 4K set top box.
