Free Netflix Plan: Telecom companies provide access to OTT platforms with their recharge plans. However, access to Netflix is available only with certain plans. There are such plans in Jio’s prepaid portfolio.
Two plans are available
The company is providing access to Netflix with its two prepaid recharge plans. Both the plans come with a validity of 84 days. Other telecom services are also available in it.
Rs 1099 plan
The first plan in this list comes for Rs 1099. In this, users get 2GB data daily for a validity of 84 days. That means a total of 168GB data will be available.
What all do you get?
Apart from this, users get unlimited voice calling, daily 100 SMS and access to OTT platforms. In this, you will get access to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud and Netflix Mobile.
Premium access will not be available
Let us tell you that in this plan, users do not get premium access to Jio Cinema. Also, this plan comes with unlimited 5G eligibility.
How much is the second plan?
The second plan in the list is of Rs 1499. In this, users get all the benefits of Rs 1099 only. However, this plan comes with 3GB daily data.
Should I buy this plan?
Now the question comes whether this plan is the best option. One month subscription of Netflix Mobile in India costs Rs 149. Three months subscription will be around Rs 450.
Recharge + Netflix Expenses
Jio’s 84 days recharge without any OTT benefit is priced at Rs 719. If you take Netflix subscription separately, then the price of both reaches around Rs 1167.
According to this, Jio’s plan is cheaper for you and there is benefit in buying it. You see the same with plans with 3GB daily data.
