Kaun Banega Crorepati 12: KBC’s fourth millionaire Dr. Neha Shah … is also a Kovid Warrior

Kaun Banega Crorepati 12: Dr. Neha Shah of Mumbai has become the fourth millionaire of this season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 12’. Dr. Neha Shah says that more than becoming a millionaire, she is happy to meet Amitabh Bachchan and talk to him a lot. Conversation with Urmila Corey…

Who will define this journey of becoming the winner of a Banega Crorepati?

Has been a lot of struggle. For the last 20 years, I have been trying to reach the hot seat of KBC. The wait and struggle brought color, what could be the better result that I have won one crore rupees. Friends, family, acquaintances have been very happy ever since the promo has arrived. Those people live like I do not. Many friends say that seeing you, you should never give up your dream. They are fulfilled only by constantly chasing dreams.

How special preparation have you done for KBC?

I will not say for 20 years, for the last four years, I used to read a whole newspaper every day, especially of current affairs. Four years ago, I got an audition call for KBC for the first time but at that time I could not go forward again, had cried a lot but kept trying. I got an audition call for this season only in June, so since then I have read a lot so that I can prove myself when I go to the hot seat.

Was there any moment during the shoot when I felt like leaving the game?

No, not at all because I wanted to spend more and more time with AB (Amitabh Bachchan). I will admit that after 12 lakhs, the questions got a bit tuffed but I was not going to bother with AB. I was very happy to see them in front. For 20 years, I have come to speak whatever was in my mind. I went to KBC to get more than money with AB sir. Those who know me know how much I like AB.

What did Big B say that made you feel so special?

When AB sir said that this girl has come to say loving things to me more than money. I did not like the money, so I loved it.

Are there plans to do anything special with the amount won?

If I am a doctor, I have to get a machine for basic life support in my clinic. Oxygen machine is also to be taken. There are free medical camps for diabetic and BP. Pregnant ladies who are not rich. Something has to be done for them also. I am also thinking to make children aware through health videos.

Tell me something about your background and family?

I am from Mumbai Ghatkopar. My father and brother are also doctors in my family. I am a housewife. I and Bhaiya studied well because of my mother because she was always behind us. We have a clinic in Ghatkopar. Along with this, I also give my part time service in Bhabha Atomic Center. Take care of the health of the employees there.

How will you remember the time when Kovid emerged as a Doctors Warrior in the era of 19?

We had our own clinic all over Ghatkopar which was not closed for even a day. My father is 88 but he said that we will not close the clinic. The care of the patients is necessary otherwise they will go. There was a problem in the beginning of oxygen but then We built a ward in which people can get oxygen.
