77 lakh farmers got money

The event was organized at the Minto Hall of the capital. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan transferred an amount of Rs 1,540 crore under the “Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana” to the accounts of 77 lakh farmers of the state with a single click. Let us tell you that for this scheme, it is necessary for the farmer to be registered under PM Kisan Yojana of the central government. The farmers of the state get this money separately from the PM Kisan Yojana.

Farmers of 44 districts got a chance

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan transferred money to the accounts of 77 lakh farmers from 44 districts of the state. Please tell that this amount is for 2021-22. During the program, the Chief Minister said many big things. He said that the government is giving electricity subsidy of about Rs 21 thousand crore. He said that despite the rising prices and cost, there would be no shortage of electricity for irrigation.

What is the goal of the government

He said that the target of the government is to ensure irrigation system on 65 lakh hectares of land in the state by 2025. For this, the government will arrange water with modern technology. Old ponds, stepwells and other water sources will also be made active again. The state government is transporting water from rivers to the fields through pipelines.

Food production increased three times

According to the Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the total production of food grains was 20 million metric tonnes, which has now increased to 60 million metric tonnes. The growth rate of agriculture in the state has increased from 1.5-2 percent to 18 percent. According to him farmers are now able to grow three to three crops in a year. He said that Rs 15000 crore would also be delivered through taps to rural areas from a project. Work is going on on this project.
