Laptops 2023 : Best Laptops Under Rs 40,000 in India, Check Latest Price Here

We list down the best laptop/smartphone/TWS earbuds at various price points. For this edition, we are listing five of the best laptops under Rs 40,000 in India.

Although we are yet to see the latest-gen laptops in this range (as of March 31), there are some decent notebooks from last year you can consider buying. Before we list the five laptops, it’s important to determine your priorities. Most laptops within the Rs 40,000 bracket focus on productivity, while gaming-centric laptops can be more expensive. For upcoming creators, there are some options, but there may be some lags in performance. Most laptops in this price range come with 8GB of RAM.

Asus Vivobook Go 15

The Asus Vivobook Go 15 is an all-rounder laptop that debuted in India recently. As the name suggests, the laptop features a 15-inch display with Full-HD resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

It is powered by the 7th-gen quad-core AMD Ryzen 3 (7320U) CPU, which fares decently against Intel’s relatively more premium 11th-gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor. The Asus laptop also includes 8GB of LPPDR5 RAM tech, which is more power efficient than DDR4 RAM tech. Other key features include Windows 11, 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD, and integrated AMD Radeon graphics.

Price on Asus India website: Rs 39,999

Infinix X1 Slim

Infinix is a new entrant in the laptop market, but the company has been making some solid PCs lately. It is also among the rarest laptops in the segment to feature a metal body and 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM (paired with 512GB of SSD storage).

The Infinix X1 Slim is a good choice if looks are your priority. However, it comes with a 10th-gen Core i5 CPU, which may not fare well against the latest-gen processors. However, it should be appropriate if you want a personal computer for browsing the web, watching movies, and light gaming. It comes with a 14-inch Full-HD display.

Price on Flipkart: Rs 38,990

Realme Book (Slim)

Similar to Infinix X1 Slim, the Realme Book (Slim) is a decent buy if the design is your priority.

At 1.38kg, the Realme Book (Slim) is highly portable and bears similarities to Apple MacBooks. It also offers a great viewing experience. Key features of the laptop include an LCD display with 2K QHD resolution, dual speakers from Harman, a backlit keyboard, 256GB SSD storage, and a fingerprint scanner.

Price on Flipkart: Currently 46,990 but drops to Rs 35,990

HP 14s

At the time of writing, HP laptops under Rs 40,000 are out of stock on the official website. However, the HP 14s is available on Flipkart, which is also a “bestseller” on the platform. It is a highly portable laptop with a 14-inch display, 11th-gen Core i3 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Additionally, there’s also an SD card, which may help many upcoming creators.

Additionally, it comes with Amazon Alexa voice assistant support to enable hands-free actions. Overall, it is a decent buy if you’re on a tight budget and want a value-for-money device.

Price on Flipkart: Rs 37,490

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i

Similar to the HP laptop, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i is a good option if you prefer laptops from traditional brands. The benefit of going for traditional brands could be after-sales services.

The IdeaPad Slim 3i includes an 11th-gen Core i3 CPU, 15.6-inch display, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 256 GB SSD M.2 2242 PCIe storage, and stereo speakers with Dolby Audio.
