Sophie told that she had a craze for Bollywood. I would not go to school without listening to the song ‘Dil Deewana Bin Sajna Ke’ from the movie ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’. I loved Bollywood songs a lot.

Praising Lata ji, the actress said- ‘She was much ahead of time. She was very strong as a woman in this industry. She was the first woman who said that singers should get royalty in the industry. Lata ji had a rift with Rafi sahib regarding this matter. At that time Kishore da supported Lata ji and today due to Lata ji, today’s singers got this right.

Sophie further says- ‘Many singers say that Lata ji was an inspiration for us, but I cannot say this. I say it’s hard to touch them. She was the real form of Maa Saraswati. I said Whitney was the girl listening to Houston. Growing up in London, I never thought I would ever come to India.
