But at the same time, the MRO (Maintenance Repairing and Overhauling) workshop is also becoming the largest repair aircraft in the country. Due to this, the proposal to construct 2 not 5 runways at Jewar Airport has passed. Significantly, the work of repairing the engines of airplanes (Aeroplan) is mostly done in Singapore, Sri Lanka and other European countries. But now this step of the government will give a big relief to the Air Aviation companies and there will also be economic savings.

According to experts, 1365 acres of land will be needed to construct 3 more runways. The UP government has given its approval in the cabinet meeting to acquire the land. The construction of the first phase will cost Rs 29500 crore. At the same time, the cost of construction of the second phase will come to Rs 31114 crore.
