Salesforce also operates in India and its offices are located in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Jaipur. After this, in September 2023, the company had also announced the recruitment of 3,000 people. World’s leading tech company Microsoft has announced the layoff of 1900 employees in its gaming division Activision Blizzard. Apart from this, online retail company eBay Inc has decided to show the exit to 9 percent of its total workforce i.e. 1000 people.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai had also talked about large-scale layoffs in the company last week. E-commerce company Amazon has decided to fire 500 employees in its streaming unit Twitch. Many experts believe that in the coming times, many more big tech companies may lay off employees on a large scale.
