Register to check LIC policy status online

To check your LIC status online, you need to first create an account on the website. For this, go to LIC’s e-service portal and click on ‘New User’ option. Now fill the registration form and create a username and password. An automated email will be sent to the email-id provided by you for verification. Now after completing the registration, you will have the option to enter the specifications of your existing policies.

Download Form

After completing the above process you can download the form, sign it and send it to the nearest LIC branch from where all your policies are operated. You will receive an acknowledgment from the branch in the form of an email or a printed receipt. Your policies will be checked and verified by the branch. After completion of the nomination process, you will be able to check the policy status online.

How to Check LIC Policy Status Online

For this, go to https://licindia.in/Home-(1)/LICOnlineServicePortaland and click on ‘Registered User’. Now enter your login credentials i.e. User ID and Password. Then click on the ‘Policy Status’ option and you will see a chart of all the LIC policies for which you have registered. To know the status of a particular policy in the list, click on the policy number. You will get information about the policy’s upcoming premium due date, sum assured, policy term, policy name, etc. On the home page there is an option to enroll for e-services. If you are a new customer, you need to fill the online registration form and create User ID and Password.
