Life Certificate: It is mandatory for senior pensioners retired from jobs in government institutions to submit their life certificate by 30 November. In case of not doing so, their pension may be stopped. Super senior citizens i.e. those aged 80 years or more are allowed to submit their life certificate between 1 October and 30 November, while for those below 80 years of age, life certificate can be submitted between 1 to 30 November. 30 November is the last date for senior pensioners of both age groups, so if you have not submitted the life certificate yet, then do this work immediately.

Know the step-by-step information to make Jeevan Pramaan Patra
- Download the PC/mobile application or go to your nearest Jeevan Pramaan Kendra (Life Certificate Center) and get registered. For this, ‘AADFaceRD’ and ‘Jeevan Pramaan Face App’ can be installed from Google Play Store.
- Provide necessary information like Aadhaar number, pension payment order, bank account, bank name and your mobile number. Aadhaar number should be updated with the pension disbursing authority of the bank or post office.
- Provide your biometrics for Aadhaar authentication and authenticate yourself by giving finger print or iris.
- Provide Jeevan Pramaan ID to download your certificate in PDF from the Jeevan Pramaan website.
- After successful authentication, an SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number which will include your Jeevan Pramaan Certificate ID. This certificate will be stored in the Life Certificate Repository so that it can be accessed anytime by the pensioner and the pension disbursing agency.
- The pension disbursing agency can download and access the life certificate from the Jeevan Pramaan website.
- The life certificate can also be delivered through electronic delivery by sending it directly to the pension disbursing agency by enabling the e-delivery facility with the Jeevan Pramaan website.
How to submit life certificate
You can submit life certificate through Jeevan Pramaan portal, doorstep banking (DSB) agent or through biometric device in post offices. Apart from this, your life certificate can also be submitted through physical life certificate form in bank branch.
