Liquor Bottle Limit: How much liquor can you carry with you during the code of conduct

Liquor Bottle Limit: With the announcement of election dates, the code of conduct came into force across the country, during which there are strict restrictions on many things.

Campaigning for Lok Sabha elections is going on across the country and now voting for the first phase will take place on April 19.

The election dates were announced by the Election Commission last month, along with which the code of conduct also came into force across the country.

During the code of conduct, there are some rules which everyone from leaders to others have to follow.

During this period, vehicles are strictly checked in all the states. Because huge amounts of cash and liquor are supplied during elections.

There is a lot of strictness regarding cash and liquor, in such a situation, if you have more than Rs 50 thousand in cash and there is no receipt for it, then the police can confiscate it.

The rules regarding liquor are the same as implemented by the state government, like in any state you can carry up to two to three bottles with you. Whereas in some states a sealed bottle is allowed.

In Uttar Pradesh, you can bring with you only one sealed bottle of liquor from another state, if you bring more than this, you can be charged a fine of up to Rs 5,000.
