Liquor Shops closed: Liquor sale banned in these districts till April 26: Know the reason

From the evening of 24th April to the evening of 26th April, liquor vends will remain closed due to elections in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. That means, from the evening of 24th April, there will be a ban on sale of liquor in these districts of UP including Noida for two days.

Liquor Shops closed: From today i.e. the evening of 24th April, the availability of liquor will stop in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. On the instructions of the UP government, the local administration has taken a big decision. Because, from the evening of 24th April to the evening of 26th April, liquor vends will remain closed due to elections in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. If you are also fond of drinking alcohol, then buy and keep two days’ stock at home before the evening.

Alcohol will not be available for 48 hours

The second phase of voting for Lok Sabha elections 2024 is to be held on April 26 in many states including Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, the Uttar Pradesh government has given instructions to the local administration to close liquor vends for two days and 48 hours and ban the sale of liquor. Let us tell you that from 6 pm on 24th April till 6 pm on 26th April, no liquor vend will be open.

Common people appreciated this step

Aditya Das, a resident of Noida, said that the government gets a good amount of revenue from liquor. The government has taken the decision to close the contracts for two days at the time of elections, this is a very commendable step. But, those who are fond of drinking manage to manage it somewhere. He further said that whenever we elect any of our representatives, a lot of thinking and understanding is required. We should not do all this work while intoxicated.

Liquor will be banned at these places in UP

There will be no sale of liquor in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Amroha, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Aligarh and Mathura. Actually, voting is to be held at all these places on 26th April. Therefore, the local administration has banned the sale of liquor for the next 48 hours.
