Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) on Sunday launched ‘Indane Composite Cylinder’ of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The amount of gas in this cylinder is easily known, so customers will be able to make their next booking easily.

IndianOil’s latest LPG product Indane Composite Cylinder has a three-layer construction and is made of a blow-mold high-density polyethylene (HDPE) inner liner, which is covered with a composite layer of polymer-wrapped fiberglass and HDPE is on the outer layer. LPG cylinders available now are made of steel.




Where is Indane Composite Cylinder available?

Indane Composite Cylinder is currently available in 28 cities- Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Darjeeling, Delhi, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Mysore, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi. , Sangrur, Surat, Tiruchirappalli, Tiruvallur, Tumkur, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam in 5 kg and 10 kg sizes with select distributors.

Why is Composite Cylinder special?

Composite cylinders are much lighter than normal cylinders. Also, some parts of the cylinder are transparent, so that customers can easily see how much gas is left in the cylinder. This will help the customers to book the next gas cylinder accordingly. One of the best features of the cylinder is that it is rust free as it is not made of any metal. How to replace old cylinder?

Indane customers can easily replace their old gas cylinder with a composite smart cylinder through their nearest dealership. For this, they will have to pay the difference of security deposit between the old cylinder and the new cylinder. Indane distributors will deliver smart cylinders to your doorstep. If customers do not want to exchange the old cylinder, they can pay Rs 3350 for a 10 kg cylinder or Rs 2150 for a 5 kg cylinder to Indane as a security deposit.
