Free LPG Connection: Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the government will give 1 crore LPG connections for free in the month of June. This facility will be given to the people below the poverty line.
New Delhi: The facility of free LPG connection is provided by the central government. If you also want to take advantage of this facility, then now you can apply sitting at home. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman (FM nirmala sitharaman) has announced to provide 1 crore gas connections under this scheme. It is believed that the government can start this scheme in June (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana). Let us tell you how you can apply for free gas connection-
How to apply online..
- You have to first go to the official website.
- Click on pmujjwalayojana.com.
- Go to the download form on the homepage and click on it.
- After clicking on the download form, the form of PM Ujjwala Yojana will come.
- Now fill your name, e-mail id, phone number and captcha in the form.
- Now click on the button to generate OTP.
- After that download the form.
Submit the form to the nearest LPG gas agency
Now you have to submit this form to your nearest LPG agency. Along with this, you will have to provide documents like Aadhar card, proof of local address, BPL ration card and photo etc. After the document is verified, you will get LPG gas connection.
Who can apply-
- It is necessary to be a citizen of India.
- Your age should be more than 18 years.
- Should be below poverty line.
- Women of the family can apply, who do not have gas connection.
- are not already taking advantage of any such scheme.
