LPG cylinder Latest Update: LPG cylinder price hiked, LPG gas cylinder costing Rs 900 – see details here

Amidst the rising prices of petrol and diesel, the rising prices of domestic gas cylinders have given a big blow to the common man. This year the price of LPG cylinder has increased by around Rs 250.




New Delhi: LPG Cylinder Rate: The price of domestic gas cylinder was increased by Rs 15 on Wednesday. The price of LPG gas cylinder in Delhi has now gone up to Rs 899.50 per cylinder. Amidst the rising prices of petrol and diesel, the rising prices of domestic gas cylinders have given a big blow to the common man. This year the price of LPG cylinders has increased by around Rs 205. LPG of oil and gas agencies The price of LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 15 to Rs 899.50. While the five kg cylinder has increased to Rs 502. This increase in the prices of LPG has happened in all categories.

This year the price of LPG cylinder has increased by about Rs 205 till now. This is the fourth consecutive increase in the price of 14.2 kg cylinder in two months. According to the report of ANI, the price of subsidized cylinder and non-subsidized cylinder will now be Rs 899.50. Earlier on October 1, the price of cylinder has been increased by Rs 25.




The government provides 12 cylinders on subsidy to all gas connection holders every year at a price less than the market price. Above this, the price of all cylinders has to be paid according to the market price without subsidy. On Wednesday, the price of petrol and diesel was also increased once again. The price of petrol has been increased by 26 to 30 paise in different cities while the price of diesel has been increased by 34 to 37 paise.

The rate of petrol has reached close to Rs 110 in many cities including Mumbai. The price of petrol is also highest in Seoni in Madhya Pradesh and Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan. Diesel has also reached Rs 98 per liter in many cities. Apart from the VAT of the states on petrol and diesel, cess is also levied along with the excise duty of the central government. The government is saying that this is happening because of the rise in crude oil prices.
