However, this reduction has not happened in the price of domestic LPG cylinder but in the rate of commercial LPG cylinder. The 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 25.50 in the capital Delhi from today. Apart from this, prices have come down in many cities. The prices of commercial LPG cylinders were also cut on the first of last month. The new rates of LPG cylinders have been released from today.

How much is cheap in delhi

According to IOCL, on October 1, 2022, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder of Indane in Delhi has been reduced by Rs 25.50. At the same time, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been cut by Rs 36.50 in Kolkata, Rs 32.50 in Mumbai and Rs 35.50 in Chennai. After this deduction, 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders will be available in the capital Delhi from today at Rs 1859.50.

Commercial LPG Prices in Metros

Commercial LPG cylinders will be available in Kolkata from today by getting cheaper by Rs 36.50 for Rs 1,995.50. Similarly, its price in Mumbai has come down from Rs 1,844 to Rs 35.50 to Rs 1811.50. Commercial LPG cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 35.50 in Chennai. The prices of LPG cylinders are fixed on the first of every month. Commercial LPG cylinders are mostly used in hotels and restaurants.

Natural gas price hike

Natural gas prices have increased by a record 40 percent. The increased rate will be applicable from October 1 and will continue till March 31, 2023. Due to the steep increase in the rates of natural gas, there is a possibility of increase in the prices of CNG and PNG.

According to the order of Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC), which comes under the Ministry of Petroleum, at present, the price of one unit of natural gas is $ 6.1 (approximately Rs 500 per unit), which has increased to $ 8.57 (about Rs 700) per unit. Is. Just as the unit of crude oil is measured in per barrel, similarly the unit of natural gas is ‘British thermal units per million’.

Just as crude oil is produced from oil wells to make petrol and diesel. Similarly, from running gas based plants to making CNG and PNG, natural gas is used. These are also extracted from the oil field itself.
