Commercial LPG cylinder becomes expensive

Oil marketing companies have released LPG cylinder prices for the month of February. The price of commercial LPG cylinder (19kg) has been increased by Rs 190 per cylinder. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder (14.2kg). These new rates have come into effect from February 1. Let me tell you that in December, the IOC raised the price of domestic LPG twice. The company had earlier raised Rs 50 on December 2, after which another Rs 50 was increased on December 15.

Commercial cylinder prices go up

The price of commercial cylinders has now increased to Rs 1539 in Delhi, which was earlier Rs 1349, which has increased by Rs 190. Prices in Mumbai have increased from Rs 1297.50 to Rs 1488. Prices in Kolkata have increased from Rs 1410 to Rs 1604. While in Chennai, the rate has increased from 1463.50 to 1654.50 rupees.




Apart from this, its price in Rajasthan has now increased from Rs 1360 to Rs 1550. Actually, petrol prices were also very high in Rajasthan. According to the new rates released by the companies, the current rate of domestic cylinders in the state is Rs 698. There is no change in this. It is being told that in view of the present conditions, the rate of 14.2 kg LPG domestic gas cylinders may also increase by next month.

LPG cylinder prices have not increased

There were speculations that before the budget was presented on February 1, the prices of LPG cylinders would be affected by inflation, but other oil companies including the IOC have not made any changes in the prices. According to the IOC website, the price of LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) for February 2021 has not increased. LPG cylinders are still available in Delhi for only Rs 694, in Mumbai the price is Rs 694. While the price in Kolkata is only 720.50 rupees. The rate of LPG in Chennai is Rs 710. This will be the second consecutive month when oil companies have not increased the price of LPG gas cylinders.
