LPG Price Cut On Budget Day: Today is the budget day and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present it in the Parliament at 11 am. Even before this, oil marketing companies have given the gift of reduction in the prices of LPG cylinders.
LPG Price Cut: Today the country’s general budget (Union Budget 2025) is going to come and just before that LPG cylinder has become cheaper. Oil marketing companies have cut the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders on 1 February 2025. The price of this cylinder has been reduced by Rs 7 and after this, the price of a commercial gas cylinder in the capital Delhi has come down from Rs 1804 to Rs 1797 from the day of the budget. However, there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders.
LPG is cheaper from Delhi to Mumbai
If you look at the website of Indian Oil, the oil marketing company has released the new prices (LPG Cylinder New Price) of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder and these have been implemented from today, 1 February 2025. Talking about the four metros of the country, where in Delhi it has come down to Rs 1797 (Delhi LPG Price). While in Kolkata its price (Kolkata LPG Cylinder Price) has come down from Rs 1911 to Rs 1907. In Mumbai, it will now be available for Rs 1749.50 instead of Rs 1756 and in Chennai this price has come down from Rs 1966 to Rs 1959.50.

This is the second reduction of the year 2025
Earlier, on the beginning of the year 2025 i.e. on January 1, the prices of LPG cylinders had also come down. On the occasion of New Year, oil and gas marketing companies had reduced the price of LPG cylinders from Delhi to Mumbai by Rs 14-16. Whereas in the last month of December last year, the prices of 19 kg gas cylinders were increased drastically.
On December 1, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi (Delhi LPG Cylinder Price) has become Rs 1818.50, which was Rs 1802 in November. In Kolkata, it became Rs 1911.50 to Rs 1927, in Mumbai from Rs 1754.50 to Rs 1771 and in Chennai from Rs 1964.50 to Rs 1980.50.
Domestic LPG gas cylinder prices stable
For a long time, there has been a change in the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders, but there has been no change in the price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder. Its prices have been kept stable on February 1 as well and it is available at the rate of August 1, 2024. Its price remains unchanged at Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.
