Maharashtra New Covid Rules: Antigen test to be done before going to the mall, these will be new Kovid rules

Mumbai. In view of the worsening situation of Coronavirus in Maharashtra, the state government has issued new restrictions this week. On Thursday, 25 thousand 833 new cases of Corona virus infection have been reported in the state. For the first time since March last year, there have been so many cases in a day. Apart from this, the government has also issued new rules for public places in the state. In such a situation, if you are thinking about traveling to Maharashtra, then take special care of these things.

What if there is no RT-PCR test report?

Without RT-PCR test report, it will be mandatory for those traveling to do the RT-PCR test at Mumbai airport. It will cost 850 rupees. RT-PCR testing facility for passengers will be available in Level 10-Departure area. At the same time, international travelers can undergo RT-PCR test in T2 Arrival Lounge area. The test results of the incoming passengers will take 24 to 48 hours. However, the results of the going passengers will come in 8 to 10 hours. These results will be sent via e-mail.

Passengers whose reports are negative will be able to continue their journey, but Kovid positive travelers will have to go to the Institutional Quarantine in Mumbai. All travelers will have to download the Arogya Setu app and give all the information from the contact to the authority.




Will all passengers need the RT-PCR test?

All domestic passengers, except Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa and Kerala, are required to carry a test report. For these, there will be thermal screening and if symptoms are seen, then they will have to be tested.

What will be the quarantine rules?

The asymptomatic patient will have to go to a 14-day home quarantine.

If traveling by rail, what needs to be kept in mind?

If passengers are traveling on a train that has passed or started from four states, then they have to carry a negative RT-PCR test report. A sample collection must be done 96 hours before the train reaches Maharashtra. During the screening process, the person will have to undergo an antigen test if symptoms are seen.

Which districts are under lockdown?

Lockdown has been imposed at 16 hotspots in Thane till 31 March.

Night curfew continues in Osmanabad from 9 am to 5 am. Weekly markets will be completely closed and there will be a complete lockdown on Sunday.

Restrictions will remain in Pune from 11 am to 6 am. Gardens and parks will remain closed in the evening. Hotels and restaurants will be able to operate only till 10 pm.

There is a strong lockdown in Nagpur till March 21.

Can hotels, theaters go to Maharashtra?

In Maharashtra, cinemas, hotels, restaurants and other offices apart from health and essential services will run at 50 per cent capacity by 31 March. At these places, no one will be allowed to go inside the mask and temperature check.

What about weddings and other events?

Social, cultural, religious ceremonies are not allowed. The number of guests at the wedding and related events should not exceed 50. If these rules are violated, action will be taken against the owners of the venue. No more than 20 people are allowed in a person’s funeral.

Will malls and other such locations operate?

According to the Mid Day report, the BMC has made antigen test or negative report mandatory for those going to the mall or shopping centers. More detailed information in this matter can come on Friday.
