Metro card should be like debit and credit card

According to a news paper published in a newspaper, the person writing the letter has demanded from the DMRC and at the same time suggested that he should change the existing system of his smart card. The DMRC has not yet adopted any such system that it should be discontinued if the card is lost. Many people suggest that the metro card be made like a debit or credit card of the bank. Magnetic chip should be put in it, so that if it is lost, it should be closed and they do not have to bear any financial loss.

DMRC does not suffer any loss

More than 30 lakh passengers travel through the smart card in the metro. DMRC is constantly improving its system to provide better facilities to the passengers. Along with this, the use of common mobility cards is also being encouraged. But so far no system has been started to block smart cards. At the same time, DMRC does not incur any kind of loss. Metro’s smart card is prepaid. Meaning that the passenger has already paid.

What if the metro card is lost

The DMRC has said in the reply to the passenger that there is no system of identification of the passenger in the metro smart card, the card is a transferable card and not a personalized person, whose responsibility is solely the passenger.

While issuing the card, no proof is also taken of the identity of the passenger. In such a situation it is difficult to verify if the card is lost.
