Metro Luggage Rules on Regular Metro Lines
If you’re traveling on the Red, Yellow, Blue, or any other regular line, only one bag is allowed per passenger, with a maximum weight of 25 kilograms. Furthermore, the bag’s size should not exceed 80 cm (length) x 50 cm (width) x 30 cm (height).
Airport Express Line Metro Luggage Rules (Orange Line)
Slight relaxations have been provided for passengers traveling to the airport. A maximum of 32 kg, with a maximum of two bags, is permitted per passenger on the Airport Line. Furthermore, the baggage size must not exceed 90 cm x 75 cm x 45 cm.
According to the DMRC, luggage must only be carried in bags or suitcases on the Metro. No bundles or loose bundles are permitted. The DMRC Baggage Scanners located at station entry gates are equipped with steel gauges. If your luggage exceeds the permitted size, it will not pass through the scanner and you will not be allowed entry.
