Metro Station Closed: Following the blast outside Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station, all security agencies are on high alert. Security has been increased in Delhi and other states, and thorough searches are underway. The bomb blast in Delhi comes just after a large quantity of explosives and weapons were recovered from Faridabad, prompting a manhunt for suspects and questioning of several individuals. Red Fort Closed for Three Days
This blast occurred just outside the Red Fort in Delhi, resulting in the area being completely sealed. It has been reported that the Red Fort will remain closed for three days. No one is currently permitted to enter the site. It is believed that public entry will be restricted for the next few days. Delhi Metro has also announced that the Red Fort Metro Station will remain closed.

Lal Qila Metro Station is closed due to security reasons. All other stations are functional as normal.

Chandni Chowk also closed
Following the blast at the Red Fort, Delhi’s largest market, Chandni Chowk, was also closed. The Chandni Chowk Market Association announced that the market will remain completely closed on Tuesday, November 11th. Chandni Chowk is adjacent to the Red Fort and attracts thousands of visitors daily. This market has also been closed for the time being due to security concerns.
Security tightened at several locations
Following the blast in Delhi, security has been tightened at several major markets and metro stations. There is a heavy police deployment at railway stations, bus stands, and other locations. Suspicious individuals are being searched and, if necessary, may be detained.
